Target Price Matching Policy Updated!

It appears that Target has updated their price matching policy.

While some of you have had issues and some have had great success…I am very glad the policy is available as now there is a clear cut policy and the confusion and inconsistency will be easily remedied by having the policy print out available when you shop! If you plan on price matching I would recommend printing the policy in case you are met with less than knowledgeable cashiers.

I am very excited to see this as part of the policy:

Target does not match coupon-required offers but guests can use Manufacturer or Target coupons when requesting a price match. Target coupon policy: Target accepts one manufacturer coupon and one Target coupon for the same item (unless prohibited).

That clearly shows that you CAN use a Target coupon and manufacturer coupon together while price matching!! They have added some exclusions including: early bird and door busters are excluded from price matching.

So those of you who went yesterday got very lucky if you were price matching the TRU door buster ad (I was one of the unlucky ones, BOO.)

Thank goodness this policy is available as this will make shopping much more pleasant as you will not be at the mercy of the knowledge level of the cashier!

Here is the Policy!

Make sure you print it out and take it with you if you plan to Price Match!
